Do you know how they reopened the Hulk after it’s track was rebuilt? I assume there was as much anticipation for that as there is the Mummy so may be a good indicator?

I know it's sad but i have become a bit obsessed with this...checking every day! We are there 15 aug to 29...haven't been for 5 years and will probably be another 5 before we go again and it may be my favourite ride anywhere...

Don’t know how much credence to give it but we spoke with a Universal staff member who said they plan to open for the Halloween nights.

I read on Reddit (I know that can be dodgy) that someone was told the date of Aug 2nd by a team member. No way of verifying this but it’s another date to throw out there.

We were there when they re-opened the hulk. They spent days and days and days just sending empty carriages round and round and round. It was so frustrating. I kept thinking that surely they must know by now whether it’s safe and then one day, yay! It opened.

I guess there’s no way of knowing whether they’re sending carriages round on the Mummy seen as it’s all indoors. I’m going to Universal tomorrow, I’ll check things out.

Fingers crossed as will be at Universal at the end of next week. saying that loads of places reported it opening for 4th July and obviously that didn't happen.
