Well done - when in May you going?
I was there May 15th for 10 days and had simply our favourite holiday ever - the Japanese people are so kind, considerate and helpful. Disney will blow your mind, especially DisneySea Obida - teamBoardless I hope is on your plans - stunning. Anyway, I think you will have an amazing time, we went with ANA and were a great airline. |

We’re going 23rd May to 1st June (DS will be on holiday from College) and hopefully should be quietish as after Golden Week but before Olympics.
Disneysea is a must do, trying to fit in Disneyland as well but if I can’t I won’t be too upset (it will be another excuse to go back). Yeah the teamborderless is on the list (hopefully get the tickets sorted). |

sounds like a good plan- my advise is to get to teamboarderless as it opens, we did and were so pleased we had when we came out, the queue snaked for miles it appeared, and they had tickets I think!

Not sure yet. Can’t decide whether to stay all 8 nights in Ikebukuro (limo bus drops off and picks up at the hotel) or do 2 nights when we arrive at Hotel Okura Tokyo Bay.
We don’t land until 14:30 so realistically we wouldn’t get much if any time in the parks on the first night and would then have a full day on the Monday and have to check out on the Tuesday to recheck in at the new hotel. How easy do you think cases would be on trains from Maihama to Ikebukuro? |

The Imperial Palace gardens are not open every day. Check this out when you make your trip - we turned up on a closed day!
