Westin Inn Times Square New York

Hi,

We are staying at the Westin Inn Times Square in a few days. Just been reading about the ‘destination fee’, when booking the travel company advised no extra resort/destination fees. Could this have been added when booked? Has anyone experienced this?

Speak to/email your travel agent and ask them if there any fees to pay at the hotel. Some agents have rates that include the extra fees and some don’t. Best thing is to check with your agent.

Print out your confirmation of included fees to take with you.

" Please note - US30 daily destination fee added to room rate includes US30 food-beverage credit/premium Internet/1 tour pass and more. "

We love the Westin, we used the credit in The Foundry Kitchen, breakfast is $33.95 (was), or in the bar.

If your travel agent confirms your rate includes the fee that's a worthwhile benefit.

Not there, but we've had hotel reception try to charge the urban destination fee, or whatever they call it, when they take a credit card deposit. They usually ask for a credit card even if your booking is pre-paid. (Apologies if you know that.)
