Disney Room Requests

Last year I was able to choose 2 options from a drop down menu for room request when doing online check in. I'm trying to do on-line check in for our trip in May but it's not coming up with the option of room requests? Is it only certain resorts? Or am I just completely missing it x

Are you looking at OLCI ? I just had a quick scan & I still can although very limited! For AKL I've got "Higher Floor,Near Lobby & Highest Floor" & that's it

What's OLCI?

Last time I just did it through the MDE app and it was for Caribbean Beach, I've already done the request for our BWV stay but trying to do it for our POR stay but there isn't any options when choosing online checking, just to opt out of mouskeeping, put my card on file and provide my email address for correspondence x

OLCI is online check-in, which is what you're doing. That does seem strange, particularly for POR which is such a large resort you would expect there to be options. I would ring them up in case it's a glitch.

Good to know there's an option to opt out of mousekeeping now. I thought I'd still have to go to the front desk for that. Though obviously I'll have to go to get the MBs, at least I can wait a while.

You should be able to do the limited choice options for POR as I have done it for our trip to POFQ in May (can't remember what the options were - something like quiet room). As Mermaid Hair says try going through OLCI. We have also requested a specific block, top floor by adding this to our booking when calling WDW so its on our invoice. Don't know if it will make a difference but at least its there if these things do get looked at.

Thanks guys I think I'll give them a call and ask to add it on to our booking as it's definitely not giving me the option with online check in xx
