For anyone still looking - We've been lucky and have gone the last 4 years always in August summer holidays.
I kept a note of the price I paid and the month I booked (all indirects for 2 adults and 2 kids) Booked Price 9th April 2015 £1100 27th Jan 2016 £1228 21st Mar 2017 £1550 28th Feb 2018 £1277 So unless we're incredibly unlucky something should turn up for everyone eventually! |

I gave in and booked lhr-mco via atl out and jfk back with vh last weekend for 24/07-13/08 as got to be back for as results on 15/08 - 2a £1089 seats and hold baggage included. I know it’s a busy time so had set a £1000 budget so not too bad and easier to get to than lgw from Swansea.

Warning rant!
It really super frustrates me when they calculate their prices based on hand luggage only, got an alert from skyscanner that my search had become cheaper, over £200 per person cheaper! So, fellow dibbers, you can imagine my excitement at finally being able to book those elusive August flights for a great price, only to be disappointed when I followed the link to realise it was without luggage... argh! |

Really puts me off using sky scanner or kayak now. There is a function on some of them where you can click a box to include baggage. A BA fly Drive package worked out best for me this yr. Hope you get sorted soon.

I booked the BA fly drive too for this reason, whilest searching you think you are on to a good thing then the final price is sky high in comparison.
We decided to do the fly drive as it included the luggage and was direct and I was happy to pay £500 each for that..

What sort of insurance to fly drives offer - is it adequate, or do you need to top it up?
