Disney Ultimate Ticket Question

Hello,

Because of the travel ban and the virus we cant go to WDW.

We have bought 2 21 Days Ultimate Ticket direct with Disney


On the Website there is this information:

If you are arriving before 31st December 2020, the validity of your ticket has been extended through to 30th September 2021. Your ticket will update automatically, and you do not need to contact us.

But i dont understand what they mean. If i arrive till Dec 31 i cant use the till Sep 30 because they are only for 21 days.

We plan to go next year in May instead if this year.

Does it mean if your original arrival would have been before dec 31st 2020, you now have until sept 30th 2021 to use them?

I read that as saying that if you have a 2020 Ultimate Ticket you can now use it up until 30 Sept 2021. The ticket isn't date-specific like some US tickets, the 21 days start when you first use it to enter a park.

I've not checked what the deal is for our tickets, but we aren't travelling until December and I'm expecting to use mine as planned.

Lol... then I rephrase... if you were going before end of December you now have until September to use it... or at least, to me, that’s what it means!

If I read this right you are going in May 2021. I would expect them to be problem solving for people travelling in 2020 first. From what I understand, those in the know don't anticipate corona still being around in 2021.

Yep, this is exactly what it means. The 2020 tickets are now valid until Sept 2021.

No we want to go in April and have 2020 Ultimate Tickets. If we cant go we then want to go in May 2021
