solo trip passenger discount Tui

Often as a solo traveler when I click on an offer the price goes up for one person

I was pleased to see Tui are giving £200 off a holiday for solo travelers

So I got a bargain for May 2020

Well done, always nice to get a discount.

Sad that the single traveller gets penalised though. I used to cringe when my late Mum used to tell me how much extra she had to pay on Saga trips.

Edit. I don't mean you are that age mind.

These days hotels could easily factor in a slightly smaller room for single travellers or 1 adult and child without losing too much potential money.
More and more people are travelling solo these days

Wow I wish I knew this! I got back from my 1st WDW trip 4 days ago, got straight back online searching and booked myself a reasonably good holiday for my 2nd solo trip to stay at the Yacht Club hotel in September 2020. The price was still (in my opinion) is expensive, but thats what happens when you book as a solo traveller :-(

Well done on finding yourself a fab deal though, enjoy your holiday its amazing solo!

Can I ask how this works? I usually go for a villa so not really acquainted with hotel bookings.

I realise that rates will change with packages, as although less people there will still be the same amount of admin, hence the room price may go up.
but if booking direct you pay for the room up to a maximum occupancy, and how many you put in it is up to you. Or have I got this wrong?

Good to know and thanks for posting. When I book my solo trips I tend not to book as a package and only book my flights when the airlines have their sales...so I always seem to get a bargain.

As a solo traveller I find the room cost a nightmare but it's usually worth it.

I don't usually buy a package unless it is a good offer.
The price after the discount meant that.
I paid essentially £170 for the flight and transfer compared to the stand alone room from WDW direct.

It is the Art of Animation - Mermaid room so very happy with the overall price.

The WDW ticket price from Tui was very expensive - so I am buying the ticket from Orlando Attractions.

The Virgin price rose by £400 when I tried to book the same room as a solo
