My weight loss journey - 14 stone/90kg to lose

Well, this week I gained 100g which I’m fine with. It’s one of those fancy scales that read everything (a special gym boditrax one, so not a 100£ from Amazon lol). It said I’d lost 1.2kg of fat and gained 1.3kg of muscle. So I’m happy with that.

I didn’t manage my workout as I hate going to the gym on my own as I feel so self conscious and awkward and not confident. Even though I know what I’m doing. My trainer is on holiday. I’m not sure I’m going to go to the gym again until she is back, so oh well.

Sound alike you are doing great Hexagon.

Can you maybe speak to the gym Staff and see if someone can support you when you attend in your own. Even if they just say hello while you get settled in each time?

Took a three week break over Christmas as that’s what my trainer took.

I lost 200g over those three weeks. And I lost 500g this past week. So now I am 159kg. I was so hoping to get in the next kilo down but next week for that.

I gained 4lb at my first weigh-in and then last week another 1lb! Hoping for a loss this Wednesday.

Are you back at the gym now your trainer is back? That should help you too.

Well I decided to measure myself at the beginning of January, and I measured myself today. And I’ve lost 3 inches off my hips, 2 inches off each upper arm and around 0.5 to 1.5 inches off the rest of me. Woo. I haven’t lost any weight though, I’m hoping this week I have.
