Adults ordering from kids selection at QS at WDW?

Does anyone know if it is possible for an adult to order something from the kids menu choices at quick service locations? Is it something that would be questioned if I ordered something from the kids menu?

I had weight loss surgery over a year ago, and as such I can only manage a very small amount of food at a time, so would end up wasting a lot of the adult sized portions of food, and of course if I can save a few pennies doing that, that's an added bonus

In my experience they don't give a monkey's! They also dont mind if you buy one meal and share it which I did a lot when my boys were smaller.

They do not care at all at QS. They have no idea whether it's for you or if you've got a kid waiting back at the table with the rest of the family. Especially if you use mobile order so you're only collecting it at the window. You can see in my food report that I did a mix of both kids and adults meals, absolutely no issues or comments.

Even at TS you'd probably be fine. The only time it's an issue is if it's a prix fixe menu but even then, they'll probably still give you the kids items but charge you the adult price.

This is great news! Thank you for the info! I don't mind paying adult's prices at all for a smaller portion, but I don't like to waste food, so will try to get smaller portions where I can

Have done this frequently as I cannot eat a large meal. IHOP let me order from the children’s menu although some will charge an additional $1 or so to cover the actual cost of the food which I am happy to pay.

It’s possible but honestly the kids menu is generally really beige food. This isn’t always the case if you pick the right location. You can ask to not have fries etc with the adult meal which often makes it cheaper as well as smaller.

I am quite a beige person when it comes to food in all honesty! As long as I can get protein first, that's the main priority, so lots of chicken for me It's just so I know what other options I have if I didn't want a larger adult's portion.

Just noticed you're staying at ASMu... The kid's chicken meal at the value resorts is honestly really good in terms of a balanced meal. Decent portion of grilled chicken, green beans and pasta with marinara. And it's only about $6.50 including a small fountain drink.

All of the parks have at least one non-nuggets kids meal restaurant as well. Satu'li Canteen, Regal Eagle, Pecos Bill and Docking Bay 7 are just a few I can think of off the top of my head. Even though I love the nugs so much I had them twice.

Haha, I am a fan of nugs (I mean, who isn’t? &#128513! But nice to have a bit of variety too. Glad to hear that the value resorts have decent kids meals, thank you!
