Nov/Dec 2020
Hi,
I am planning another trip for next year. We are looking to go end of Nov I to the first 2 weeks in Dec. Can anyone advise of weather and crowd level at this time? I've been October before. Thanks in advance! |

That’s when we go and will be booking just after Christmas.
Weatger is fine, nice and warm, but tgen evenings can be cool, so take a jumper/sweatshirt. Parks are not open as long, but the upside is less people, that is, after the weekend after Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving week is busy as for Americans it’s as important as Christnas. thid is a sweet spot between thanksgiving crowds and Christmas crowds

We went this time in 2015 - was great time to go, less crowds so meant less queues. Weather was lovely and warm, shorts and t-shirts most days and often had a jumper for early mornings or late nights.
We didn't visit the water parks though and the pool at AKL was a little cold for me, but my DD and DH went in often. We landed on Thanksgiving but by the end of the weekend so many people were leaving. We did Universal for the first 3 nights with express passes so the crowds didn't matter to us and when we moved onto Disney the crowds were leaving.

November crowds ok, except for Thanksgiving.
Early December crowds also reasonable. Weather for both - good enough for water parks (although may need to be flexible with plans as somedays can be chilly).

like most things the weather will vary ...
We have been those weeks twice and it was low to mid 80's the first time and low 70's the second the crowd levels are definitely better though and the Christmas decs are fabulous!

We are booked into Disney from 6th December next year, I might add a couple of days at Universal on but not decided yet. I am looking forward to Christmas decorations and I have heard that early December is not too busy.
