Never flew BA as don’t fly direct from Manchester.
Do like virgin PE but the price was crazy when I was looking to book. Also miss the v room and also Disney springs drop off as little perks. We booked Tui premium for next year and looking forward to trying the Dreamliner. Fingers crossed it’s good

Virgin because I use Tescos auto convert and a Virgin cc so always have enough for at least 1 long haul flight per year.

If all options were the same price I would fly Tui. I don't think PE is worth it - I can have a sneaky week in Spain for the cost of a PE upgrade with most airlines so I would rather do that.
However, we tend to just go with whatever is cheapest, preferably but not exclusively direct. For the upcoming holiday that ended up being Tui!

I was treated quite well by Virgin in the early days of COVID
Offered a full cash refund of my cancelled flight to LA or If I took a voucher for a flight at a later date then I could have an upgrade voucher as well . They were so desperate not to have to fork out cash but then they realised that the European airlines were just ignoring the rules anyway. Took 6 months and threat of legal action to the head of Air France (UK) to get my flights moved First they denied any responsibilty then claimed they just had to offer refunds - even though rebooking would cost double |
