Ive been waiting patiently for this report and can i say Thank You as you have not disapointed me.The photos and all the little details you have put in made it sound like we were there.
Such a shame Amanda wasnt feeling to good,hope it wasnt the seafood as we are now definatly going to eat down there after seeing those pictures when we go.
Better tell DH to start saving hard to pay for it.

Amanda,i also agree the new hair and colour looks fab.

... we only really use the Rough Guides when we are doing cities - they are much less m,agaziney and much more relevant (to us) than the other, glossier ones.

Have you read our previous Barca trippie from 2006? there's loads to do in the city and the area generally. Don't miss the Gaudi sites, including the Sagrada Familia, the Pedrera and Park Guell! And Port Aventura is just down the road.. buy a combined park ticket and rail ticket from the rail station and the train is almost for free!

If you fly Easyjet to Barca International there's a direct rail link from the airport to the city, only a few Euros. If you fly as we did this time to Gerona there's the great bus service we used - you buy tickets in the baggage hall.


Amanda wasn't ill due to the seafood - we shared all the dishes and i was fine. I reckon it was a hot beef sandwich late saturday night.
