Could people please post their dates with pick up and drop off location as I have been trying for days and can't get anything, thinking if it's just a simple matter of changing pick up point or change by a day then I might find something.

Hi Disney babe, were picking up in San Francisco and dropping in Las Vegas, 20th July until 3rd August. I have just looked on Hertz and the offer is no longer on for my dates.

Think I've probably missed it then, I wsanted LA to LV 27 July- 2ng Aug, prices showing at 260 for mis size suv, never mind I'm sure something will turn up.

Just checked Hertz for the same details as our existing booking and WOW have the prices jumped, we have confirmed price of $329 and now showing as $1039. Really pleased we booked when we did

Keep checking the prices when I looked a few months ago I couldn't see anything less than £500 for an SUV the 20 days hire we wanted in August. Then checked this week and got it for £260! Not sure why. Now prices have rocketed up again. Also found hotels are substantially dearer tonight than yesterday maybe it's the weekend so the prices have gone up because more people are looking?

I think hotel prices do seem to go up a bit at weekends, but I booked a couple a few months ago and they have all rocketed since in price. I did book my Las Vegas one this week as it dropped in price for one day (although I might change this nearer the time if I see something better). Hopefully hotel prices will drop nearer to our holiday as I've still got to book more. Just keep checking I guess.

 Too used to Florida prices. Finally bit the bullet and booked 4 nights in San Francisco for £640 yesterday thinking ouch it's gone up to £850 today! Parking to pay on top of that...
