Glad to see you starting a pre trippie i'll be reading along and becoming jealous the more & more it gets closer but i won't get my hopes up for a full trip report when you get home, not if your past record of getting them finished is anything to go by
I knew you would spot the change, Sarah, yes we decided to stay in Anaheim, as I'd found a shuttle that will take us to Hollywood from Anaheim, and gives us 6 hours there, so that's much better than the upheaval of moving to Hollywood just for one night. Promise not to change it any more! Ah, you have no faith in my ability to write and finish a trippy, have you, I wonder why? No, I will try my best, to at least get some piccys up, lol, but give me a chance to get over the jetlag first!

We stayed at the hilton Anaheim in 2006. It really was a fabulous hotel. Starbucks in the lobby, a great restaurant for breakfast and the pool area was lovely.

Have fun
Oh glad you enjoyed the Hilton, it was the only hotel I could get with my Airmiles, but it does look really good, and it's been recently renovated, they now have a small foodcourt which includes the same pizza outlet as in Orlando airport, so that will come in handy on the evening we arrive. Did you do a trippy, do you have any photos of the hotel?

Yes I did a trippy - it's the first one in my signature. We were there from day 5 or 6 until day 9 or 10. Bill wasn't really into fiddling with cameras then so there are not many photos of the hotel. There a few though. It is one of my favourite hotles I've ever stayed at. We stayed at the Grand Clifornian last year, and I know you've stayed there too, but if we go back (or I should say when we do) we are likely to return to the Hilton.

Thanks Jules, just had a look, the rooms look a really good size, they've been renovated now and are shades of brown, they look very modern. I wonder if we'll meet any vicars wearing crocs in the lift?

Yes we stayed at the Grand Californian last time, it is very expensive though, no way could we stretch to that, great location though, right in the parks, but glad to hear that you preferred the Hilton.
