Villa pool…heated or not

We are staying in a villa this year and begrudge paying extra for a heated pool.

What are peoples experiences with a non heated pool?

Or should we just bite the bullet and get it heated?

We’ve always had non heated pools in Villas and have stayed during May, June, July and August and have to say we really enjoyed the cooler water. There was nothing better than to return in the afternoon for a cool swim/splash around to relax you.

The kids were jumping around so much that they were glad of the cooler water. When I say cooler, it’s not like it’s freezing. We found that normally the un heated water was just perfect in those months

Heated - always (in Florida - we’ll anywhere except Palm Springs or Dubai when I want it chilled)

We enjoy very warm water but everyone is different

We are going in November, still debating whether to have pool heat or not, only ever had it at Christmas and stayed in April, May, June, September, October and December.

Mine was 90 last time I checked! Heating it now would certainly be a waste of money for renters since the thermostat wouldn't even turn it on.

Didn’t get pool heat for the villa we rented in Windsor Hills and it felt like getting into a bath. Warmest pool we’ve ever had. Maybe that’s down to the very little rain they’ve had recently? I don’t know but it was great.
