Hotels near Disneyland

Hi

Unfortunately, The Candy Cane Inn (where I stayed before) is closed till September so am looking for a hotel ideally which is within walking distance to Disneyland. Any recommendations please!

Btw all Disney hotels are fully booked (looking for a couple of weeks time) My trip has changed!

Thank you!

We are staying at the Howard Johnson which has good reviews and is about a 10 min walk to Disneyland.

I am staying at The Anaheim Hotel this time round for the first time. I picked it due to close proximity to the parks, plus the pool is massive (a rarity in Anaheim).

We just stayed at the Hilton Hampton, 20 min walk but there was shuttle buses from the toy story car park right next door which were free

I have stayed at Tropicana Hotel and Desert Inn and Suites. Both are about 7 minutes walk from the pedestrian entrance on Harbour Boulevard. They are opposite side of the Denneys

Thank you!

Did you prefer one over the other?

They are both motel style with outside corridors.

Tropicana has an onsite convenience store and coffee shop.

Desert Inn and Suites has a complementary basic breakfast with a coffee machine, juice and cereal.

Tropicana has an outdoor pool.

Desert Inn and Suites has an indoor pool.

For me, its price per night / overall cost which is the deciding factor between the two.

I checked both for each trip.

In January Tropicana was cheaper.

In June Desert Inn and Suites was cheaper.
