BA Overnight Bag Drop Gatwick

Hi,

We travel down to Gatwick today and are flying out on Friday. As we’re staying close to the airport the night before the flight, we were thinking of using the Overnight Bag Drop to check-in our cases, allowing us to head straight to security on the morning of the flight.

Our flight is at 12:20pm, I seem to recall that so long as it’s before 1pm we can use the bag drop. Please can anyone confirm this is correct?

Also, what time is the overnight bag drop open from/to?

Thanks

We used it last Sunday, easy to do was open 6-10 but we arrived at about 5.50pm no problem at all. Yes you are correct re the times you can use it if your flight is before 1pm. Have a great flight!

Just to add, for anyone thinking of doing this, it was an absolute breeze. Arrived at 5:45pm, printed our boarding cards from the self service kiosks, dropped the bags and got on our way back to the hotel, no waiting around or queues to navigate, brilliant!

No free parking at any airport that I’m aware of unfortunately.

You can park for free for 2 hours at the Gatwick long stay car park, at least you could when I checked their website last week.
