Yes I would definitely be buying a gift for child if I were attending a family christening.
I cannot remember what I wrote in the card last time I attended one, but the children were babies, so I am pretty sure I would have addressed it to the parents. |

A gift defiantly yes, as for the card I don't think it really matter.l
I usually put "congratulations to you both" or something similar and "welcome baby... " as well.

I believe you can actually get cards that say On your Christening Day so it should then be written to the child.
jojomamanbebe/d6531...CABEgIT1fD_BwE A small gift would be nice. Disney do a nice range of baby stuff: disneystore/baby-2 Edited at 02:37 PM. |

It depends on the card. Some say on 'your christening day' & would be addressed to the child. Some say 'on your son/daughter's christening day' in which case it would be addressed to the parents.

I would address the card to the child then if the parents want to they can save and give it to them when there older and I would get a small gift or money to save for the child's future 😆

Story books are a great present- shops like The Works or Bookpeople online do beautiful illustrated books as keepsakes. Alternatively Disney story books to be read

The book people do lovely box sets of Beatrix Potter books. I think these are a lovely keepsake.
