That’s a shame! I wasn’t going to bother asking either, but DH is cheeky. I asked what their availability was and they said ‘any time’…they literally had no bookings. And I’m not surprised at the advertised $175. It was lovely having the room to ourselves.

My DH and I did the rainforest room on our trip earlier this week- also paid I think $29 pp and also added on a lavender salt scrub for $9 to share between us.

It was very luxurious to have the space to ourselves! I recommend this for anyone on any future sailings!

Has anyone else had horrendous issues with overcharging? We got double charged on our registered card and now have to wait 31 days to get the £1000+ back because the CMs attitude on the phone was truly unhelpful and apalling.

Big downer on an otherwise wonderful cruise. Be wary if you register a card as we spoke to 2 other people hit by this.

So was it actually charged or was it "pending" charges. We had some really large pending charges and it did eventually disappear off our account in a few days. There have been lots of reports online about this but unfortunately because one is pending and one is the real charge there is little they can do about it

Anyone had trouble prepaying for tips? Was hoping to pay beforehand as I have quite a few Disney gift cards I wanted to use and I just thought it would be easier. Also wanted to add some money to my onboard account.

When I rang they said as I paid for the cruise in pounds and I wanted to pay for the tips/onboard credit in dollars first off I was told this couldn't be done, then they said they may be able to do it and then finally that they tried everything but it wouldn't work

As they didn't seem too sure I was going to ring again because surely this is an easy work-around and it will save some time onboard. Has anyone prepaid tips in a different currency to what you paid for the cruise?

Also on the subject of tips, has anyone bothered to get some dollar bills for tipping room service? My post office have said they can't do $1 bills apparently and I've heard that you can also add room service tips to onboard account anyway, anyone know if this is true? Anyone manage without taking some dollars? What about the people who help with baggage at the terminal, can you tip them in pounds?

I got a mixture of $1 and $5 notes from Ramsdens. They were happy to do it.

Can any dibbers tell me if the lateral flow tests at the port are nose only or nose and throat? Just wanting to prepare for a potential meltdown . . .
