What test do we need to fly back to UK

All I can see are Rapid antigen test or RT PCR test so am very confused as to which we need to fly back to UK. They dont seem to mention lateral flow test at all nor PCR - just the RT PCR.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Rapid Antigen is a LFT & you can use this for coming back into uk.

Lateral flow and rapid antigen test are the same thing, LFT is just the common term here for an antigen test.

OK thank you both, I was getting confused as not sure that a rapid antigen test was acceptable or not.
