Typical bank holiday weather here in Wales, pouring rain ☺. We are just getting ready to go shopping for our Universal/New York stay... we need clothes, shoes, insect repellant, toiletries... Poor husband is not looking forward to the day out 😀

Been out for my 1st dog walk of the day at 8am, no-one around - bliss! Youngest DD having a friend round so hanging round the house doing bits and bobs followed by another dog walk in our local country park this afternoon.

Lazy morning with a cuppa and salmon/scrambled egg breakfast in bed. Given myself til 9.30 to get up, a Lil bit of laptop work to finish whilst ds12 revises for start of exam fortnight tomorrow.
Might join gym at leisure centre...might... update later 😂

Drinking, coffee ☕️, just going to have a day in the garden planting up my new pots, my poor husband has got to go off to collect another set of pots for me from another Homesense, they never have enough in one shop 😬

its a pretty awful dull rainy day here in Notts so far, I have a few errands to run and thats about it really.

DH volunteered to work as he has just changed jobs and annual leave is tight so he will get a day in lieu to use for Florida in August! I saved the housework for today so we could do stuff over the weekend and have just finished upstairs, only the downstairs to do! Then need to run some errands and pop to visit my sister and walk the dog... pretty boring really!

Heading out shortly to take the kids to see Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.2... then make Ragu for tea, then pack my bag as away to Chicago tomorrow for work..arrive back Friday morning
