2 questions they are puzzling me at the moment...

1. Do you think food prices (your grocery shop) have gone up in the last 5 weeks?

2. Ring pull cans - do you ;
a. Pull off lid completely
b. Leave lid attached

Apologies for randomness but it is what my mind is trying to deal with atm...

Over to you...

I pull off completely cos I think it's easier to rinse them for recycling. Oh leaves them on and leaves them for someone else to rinse 😐

Food bill - it's hard to know because we are shopping differently. ie a big shop every couple of weeks and some smaller shops. I'd say it has gone up though as we're not eating out, takeaways, school dinners etc and have bought quite a few 'nice' things)Ingredients for special dishes etc. And more booze 😳

Food bill has gone up massively and not in direct correlation to everyone being at home. It’s more then our previous shopping budget and cost of school dinners and any lunches DH and I would buy while out. There’s no offers on food, lack of value or own brand stuff is forcing people to buy a brand or two higher than they normally would have done so.

Pull it all off. It freaks me out when people leave it hanging!

Not ours as we are Aldi shoppers but if you look on the supermarket price check sites the average basket of 25 everyday items has gone up around £2:00 per week
Supply and demand and reduced imported products many of which come in on passenger aircraft not freight
Freight carriers have already purchased fuel for this period somate not
benefitting from lower fule prices
Our meat supplier friends organic farm is having to pay more for
Slaughterhouse costs feed etc
They are not having to dump milk like so many farmers as they can't
Produce enough to meet demand and they have noticed a marked increase in there farm shop for everything

Yes definitely ! No offers on in our local shop and can’t go on ferry to town to get to Tesco or Lidl. But, our local council have given all isles residents £5 per head per week for the next 4 weeks to compensate slightly which is fab ! Funded through a government grant.
Do either or with tins and cans, do rinse them for recycling but not in the dishwasher ! Just a quick rinse through under tap - does that make me skanky lol 🤣?

Pull off completely and put inside can cos dd tells me if cans somehow end up somewhere animals can get their head in them they will be injured if jagged lid left attached.
