Mobile Uber!

Out here now and been using uber to all disney and universal parks without extra charge. Very easy to use and less hassle wouldn't ever hire a car!

Used Uber for the first time yesterday to/from Contemporary for our meal at California Grill. Excellent prompt service, immaculate cars and a bargain price - a winner for us!

We found this too. Everyone was saying cars are much more convenient and it's a must but uber took us closer to parks, picked us up closer and we never waited. Spent far less than a hire car with parking and fuel. We could indulge in the odd alcoholic beverage. We never once sat on a bus apart from a couple of times when we went from a park to have a nosey round one of the Disney hotels and for an ADR. We never waited on an An Uber as there are so many we would order walking down the stairs from the condo or as we were walking to the entrance and by the time we got to the pick up points it was there. A car wasn't an option for us as we do not drive however my partner will have his license soon and we have both agreed that we will still continue to use Uber unless we want to drive further afield for just a day or two. Not likely for now though as we go for the theme parks. Maybe once the kids are older.

We downloaded the app in U.K.
We used Uber twice on our last visit (so we could all enjoy a drink) and as others have said, great service, great price, immaculate cars and on both occasions our drivers were such characters. Will deffo be using again in the future.

We downloaded in the UK but found that we couldn't get the offers for free rides as it's still a UK app so couldn't tranfer the £15 free ride to $$$. But didn't matter as we used it at least twice a day every day and cost in total less than £300 for 2 weeks. The car hire and insurance would have been around £500 and then there's the car parking $20 every day u go to a disney park and fuel (which is cheap) but all adds up.

We downloaded in the uk and put in the code for the $22 free ride. Worked perfectly fine and deducted it on our first ride.

How do you pay do you attach a Paypal account to Uber?
Also do you have to load it with dollars or can you load in sterling and uber do the conversion and pay in dollars?
We are looking to use this for Discovery Cove so we can have a drink as everything is included.
I've never used Uber so have no idea what I am doing.
