We didn't feel any need to stand up as we had a perfect view - I don't see why anyone in the front tables would need to!
We booked a couple of months before we went. You're right - the tables were already allocated with table numbers. We were quite far back in the queue and when we arrived, our names and table number were checked off the list. We were given the table number as a card and a waitress then came to take us to that table.
Hope this makes sense!

We've been booked since June for Christmas Eve so hopefully that'll give us a chance of a good table.

Sounds like we were unlucky People were standing so that they could take photos over the glass barriers. The waiting staff did ask them to sit down after a while, but they kept popping up again and it was all very distracting.

We did this for the second time 3 weeks ago. Food was great and we learnt a lot about the Whale programme. Can thoroughly recommend.

I booked in on June 23rd for Christmas Eve Louise so I'd think January should be on sale now.

I'm guessing that the January dates will be available from next week only as it's showing upto 31 Dec at the moment. Sorry can't help with whether your children will be classed as adults, you could always email Seaworld and ask them?
