Use of quick service credits for children
Hi
We are a family of 4, myself, DH, DD(6) & DD(2). I've heard conflicting things regarding the use of quick service credits for children. As our youngest DD will not qualify for credits under the dining plan I was hoping to order an adult quick service meal for our 2 DD's to share. However I'm not sure if this is allowed? Has anyone else done this who can confirm?

I think QS credits are not separated into adult/kids meals so you should be able to do that. I'm sure I have done it in the past.

There's no difference between child and adult as credits. It's fine to do this - we have as have many others

Total to fine. All QS credits can be used to order an adults or a child's meal regardless of who's on your party. One adult meal will be more than sufficient for two kids. We did exactly this in 2013 (before it was 'allowed' but still doable) and everyone had plenty of food.

After 2 days of choosing from the kids menu (which they weren't enjoying as not normally what they would eat at home) we were told by a Disney customer service rep to let them pick from the adult menu when they overheard one of them saying they didn't like the choice and wanted what we were having, as a credit is a credit and no separation on your total - likewise if an adult wants a childrens meal, just use what you want/when
Given some of the adult options are large, our 2 children regularly shared a credit between them |
