Bristol Tui flight 10th August Diverted

Not sure if posted already, sorry if it has.
So our Bristol Tui flight couldn’t take off with enough fuel to get us to Sanford because there was no wind and it was raining too much so had to fly to Manchester to refuel. Added an extra 2 hours onto the flight. Here now safe and sound though. Waiting to go to Universal.

We are doing that flight next week! What a strange thing to happen we did see it diverted to Manchester! I am glad you have got there safe and sound.

One of the big problems Bristol faces.

The airport has one of the shortest international airport runways in the country at just 2,011 m in length.

As a comparison the much quieter Cardiff Airport runway is 2,392m long and Manchester is 2,999 m

Little update. That flight seems a long time ago now. It only took us 75 minutes to get off the plane to our transfer. We had to do an agricultural check too. It didn’t spoil our holiday, we’ve had lots of fun and it’s quiter than I thought it would be. Only 3 afternoon showers so far with 3 days to go. It’s hot but manageable. I hasn’t put us off flying from Bristol as the drive home will be 45 minutes.
