Volcano Bay - Early Hours

Staying at the Hard Rock for 4 nights and wondering if its worth it to use one of the mornings to go to Volcano Bay ? Can you get a lot done ?

Yes.

Best time to go by far. Nice and quiet and you can do all the main slides before the crowds arrive.

I would use more than one morning to be honest. The early morning at VB is much more of a perk than the early hours at the parks as you have express anyway - Volcano Bay is a wonderful water park but it gets very busy and the wait times can be crazy.

We stayed a week at Portofino last year and went to early opening at VB 4 times - it is a great start to the day. Highly recommend it.

As above! Definitely use the early morning entry - you can get loads done with very minimal queuing! We did a couple of early entry’s last year - got most stuff done a couple of times and the left for lunch as it was getting rammed! x

Definetly yes! We did it one morning last August and we were in the park by 7.45 and it was more or less empty. Everything was a walk on, we had done everything we needed/wanted to do by 11.00am so we’re back round the pool at HRH by 12 and had a lovely afternoon, then an evening at IOA! It was fab’

I agree with all of the above. Early entry at VB is far superior to early entry at the other two parks. Definitely do it.

Do you still have to "tap" in to the rides or do you just walk up ?

It's a great time to go. We had everything done and were eating "lunch" by 11.30am!
When you go to tap into the rides where it usually says the waiting time it will say Ride Now and you can just go ahead and join the queue if there even is one.
