Mobile Auto trader or EBay best to sell campervan?

Hi,

We are looking at selling our campervan and upgrading to caravan for more space. We haven’t sold a vehicle ourselves before and wondered is Autotrader or Ebay best or are they much the same? I have priced both options and eBay charge 12.99 plus 1% of selling fee, or Autotrader ranges from £37/£75 depending on length of time advertised.
Just looking for advice/opinions really.

We recently tried to sell a Land Rover Defender, so not a camper van, but is a vehicle with a specific market. We tried Auto Trader first and had little response. eBay we had a much greater response. Lots of contact before the auction ended with cheeky offers though!

We sell our cars privately

Facebook market place and gumtree are pretty good and no fees ..

Whichever you use be prepared for time wasters , scammers and general idiots..

We always use Autotrader to sell our cars - always been quick and easy. I would recommend.

Everything around here appears to be sold on Facebook. Very few on gumtree, it just doesn't seem that popular around here. Preloved too. Selling vehicles on ebay is a pain in the backside, I wouldn't recommend it.

We are in South Wales, not sure if location makes a difference.

Is this an old VW camper van? If so, you would be better taking something like this to a specialist.

Are you a member of the caravan club if so you can sell on there, think you can also sell as guest , but they pair with caravansforsale and you can post for free.

Not a vintage VW camper, it’s a 2015 Vauxhall Vivaro so no specialist seller needed.
