Virgin and seats blocked for space?

Seats are 2-4-2, except a few at back 2-3-2 in economy. 2-3-2 economy plus.
So may guess would be if family of 3 they would fit in a 4 seat and leave one free.
Would not surprise me if because of this you wont be able to choose seat, and they will try to adjust families to reduce empty seats i.e. family of 4 given 2 x 2 seats.

Our family of 4 have been completely split up all over the plane I’m not happy and only one of us has been given a seat on the way out the other 3 have to choose seats but there aren’t any to choose unless you want to pay for the exit row seats. Virgin flight changed to Heathrow from Gatwick.

Very surreal, Aberdeen and Norwich airports both deadly quiet. Face masks handed out on entry to plane with one guy refusing to wear his on his previous trip. Oh and like I said flight home was rammed, full seats behind, in front, opposite and immediately beside. Not pleasant at all.
