Virgin MCO Check-in Opening Time
So I'm trying to find out the earliest I can check my bag in at the airport on the way back? I'm coming off a cruise so will be at the airport from around 10-11am and worked out I probably wont have enough time to benefit from a day room (only really got about 3 hours before I need to check in anyway) but then wondered if the bag drop opened any earlier to get rid of my case.

Thanks. Was trying to estimate how long I have to spend/waste at the airport before the flight to work out whether its worth paying $150 for a day room. I'm thinking it will be about 4 hours max which seems a lot to spend on what is in effect a bed. Travelling solo and unlikely to sleep so not sure its worth it.

I would still be tempted to opt for a day room at the Hyatt, there's a gym, outside pool and nice restaurant. You can then have a relaxing bath/shower before your flight.

Hi Sarah,(gismo1554), my daughter and I are also doing WDW and a cruise on the Disney Dream in November. We will be in the same situation as you getting at the airport quite early and our flight back to Manchester isn't till 17:55. I have been wonder ing what we do being there so early, didn't know you could get a day room, might have a look at that.

I'd opt for a day room and enjoy a day relaxing by their pool and then have a shower and change before the flight.
I think it would be a very long day in the airport otherwise. |

I emailed the hyatt and they storted out booking it for me as you can't book on their website. I still haven't decided whether to keep with it or not. If there wasn't just me I'd definitely be keeping the reservation but in all honesty I just don't know if I am going to get much use out of it.

We don't arrive that early at the Orlando end as we're magical express users, so we tend to get there, eat and then go through to the gate.
When we drive to Manchester I always insist on being really early just in case of traffic jams. We then clear security, have breakfast and then find an empty gate area close to where we think ours will be and settle down there. There's usually somewhere that you can pretty much sit in isolation for a while at least. In Orlando the gate area seats have charging points
