Teak is great and a welcome respite from the tourist traps, we ate there last week and the food and service was top notch. You know you are dinning like a local when your bill has no mention of a suggested tip amount on it

Never been the mixed reviews and price put me off. Agave Azul Mexican very nearby is supposed to be good. What is putting your wife off Cowfish?we’ve been twice and loved it both times plus the kids meals in a bento box a good. I had burger first time and sushi the second time.

She's not mad on burgers or sushi

We are trying to mix up the variety a bit and we all loved Teak last time so that will be our go to Burger place

It is a few years since we went. I love Mexican food, after Italian it is my favourite and we thought it was very good. I wouldn't hesitate to go there again.

Just checked tripadvisor and it fares pretty well about 300th out of three thousand.

we always go when staying at HRH. never had a bad meal

as for dodgy reviews only small % ever leave a review (good or bad) so given the footfall through the place a couple of dodgy ones is nothing imo & some people will twist on 21..

We went in 2015. It wasn’t bad! It wasn’t the best meal but it was nice . Might be somewhere we end up going this year as I can see my best friend and his partner wanting to try it and we are spending our universal days with them

My thoughts on reviews are: discount the cheerleaders AND the doom-mongers. Have a look at the balanced reviews and see if you can get a flavour. The review flavour for this restaurant is not good at the moment.

We went in October, worse meal of the fortnight. Luckily it was complimentary meal so we didn't pay, and ordered best of the menu and it was all awful.

We ate there in September and had a lovely meal. Service was fab. Cocktails were lovely too😀
