Disney Dining Plan (Help)
Hi, I understand the concept of the DDP, you get credits and depending on the plan depends on how many credits you get etc.
My question is regarding the credits. Is there a spend limit per credit (Min/Max) For example. If i got a Salad (Yeah right) that was say $7 or a big stake etc.. $30 does it matter. Also what do get for 1 credit, Drink and Main or Main and Pudding, or Drink, Main and pudding... or does it depent on where your eating. Thanks in advance for this silly and most likely stupid question. |

No there’s not really a price limit although some of the more expensive restaurants will have the odd dish that requires a supplement. For table service meals you get a main, dessert and drink and quick service a main and drink.

As said above virtually all meals are covered on the dining plan regardless of the cost of the individual meal...some restaurants charge a supplement for lobster tail for example...this is why to get the best value from whichever dining plan it is worth checking the menus beforehand and choosing restaurants which have meals you like at the more expensive end to get the best value on the dining plan. The same applies to the snack credits...I think Disney value a snack credit at approx $5 but some snacks available on the dining plan cost more than that so you would be getting value for money choosing those snacks (not so much if you use the snack credit for a bottle of water!)

General rule of thumb, is any meal designed for 1 person, any that are shareables they sometimes allow you to order it but take the corresponding amount of credits. In my experience it's generally steaks that are the most expensive & in a 1TS restaurant you would be looking around the $40-$45 mark.
