ICON Park - Worth a trip?

This is the first year my hubby and I will be venturing off site to explore. We will be using Uber and I have purchased a 14 day I-Trolley ticket as we are staying at Universal Resort for the 2 weeks.

I have spotted a Groupon for the Sea Life and Madame Tussauds at Icon Park and wondered if Icon Park is worth a visit for a couple? I've read there are restaurants and bars but is it worth a trip for an afternoon/evening out?

Very vibrant atmosphere in the evening, lots restaurants and bars. We went on the Orlando eye then went for dinner at Uncle Julio’s Mexican restaurant. The only thing I didn’t like we went to a bar that had live music and they charged us $5 entry fee each then drinks were another $20 for two vodkas and lemon so an expensive quick drink as we didn’t like the music much.

We quite enjoyed it when we visited early evening. Plenty going on, we had a go on the dark ride 7D and shot some zombies, then we went around Sealife (took about an hour) . we had a look around and bought some pretzels (which were amazing)

Planning on visiting the Sugar Factory there in a few weeks to try their desserts. We also have tickets for Sealife again and Madame Tussauds. It's a nice change from the parks

What was the Groupon offer? My 11 year old wants to do Tussauds.
