So that's OK then - just the thing to enhance our experience as two 70+ year olds who might fancy a ride on them. Sure beats a gentle 10 minute cruise on the Friendship boats for a bit of an adrenalin rush

Ch 9 Eyewitness News had a reporter in one of the cars and you can view her video as she broadcast it live.

She mentioned there is also a pad of paper and a pencil under the seat. I wonder if this is for people to write notes and drop them out to the rescue crew.

Help I'm hungry
Please hurry up I need a pee
Oh my God you wont believe what this Guy has just done in his waste bag
I'm going to sue you
Have you any FOP fast passes please
I'm going to be late for my ADR.
Has anybody got the number for Dan Newlin

It could be worse, at least over water the Skyliner appears to be about 30ft -50ft above ground level. The peak to peak gondola at between Whistler and Blackcomb mountains is a mere 1430ft above ground. And some cars have a glass bottom. Good luck getting out of that one in a hurry

Unfortunately, I don’t think it’s an emergency waste bag for sweet wrappers 😆

No, that's not a gator circling below you, we've borrowed the theming from Peter pans flight...

I guess for the majority of people that don't know the technical difference, like me, going down solo or assisted on something that certainly resembles a zip line would still be a pretty scary ordeal!
