mannys chophouse comments from a first visit

we visited mannys chophouse yesterday on the 192, it was our first visit. We had a table for 2 adults and 2 children and managed to get a table straight away (5.45pm). We were visited by the manager who introduced himself (wrote his name on the tablecloth and thanked us for coming to his restaurant!).Our server came over and introduced himself and proceeded to give my wife a complimentary glass of wine! The meal was lovely. wehad a portion of wings to share, I had a 14oz steak (huge), my wife had 10oz steak and the kids had half rack ribs and an 8oz steak. We had slad and bread rolls and 3 soft drinks. The server cleared our plates and presented us with a complimentary ice cream brownie sundae and 4 spoons, we were stuffed but it would of been impolite not to eat the sundae!. Our bill came to $85 which we thought was good for the amount of food we had, is it normal to get free wine and free sundae here? Anyway we would definitely visit again.

We went to Mannys when staying at Southern Dunes 3 years ago. We loved the service, food (especially the sweet rolls and cinnamon butter) and good value so much that we ended up going back there virtually every other night. We're going back again this October and will certainly be visiting Mannys again 😋

Love Mannys, usually goto the one on the US27. Everything about it is brilliant, speaks volumes it's usually full of locals. Usually massive queues to get in though so worth calling ahead at busy periods.
Staying in Davenport this year so undoubtedly we'll be visiting a few times given its only 15 mins away ... be rude not too

We love Manny's and go on our second night and our last night every holiday but never had a freebie.

The only 'freebie' we had was at Carabba's when a selection of desserts was brought out for us to look at (all mini-size things) and asked which we'd like. We all picked a dessert and then the bill came and we were charged something like $5 each for tiny little taster size things.

We visited Mannys on the 192 at Christmas and we loved it. Definitely going back.

We ate at the newest Manny's last month. Having been to the original which was phenomenal, our experience at the latest restaurant was awful. Server was atrocious and totally inept, and we were left waiting on food for over an hour. A very poor experience for us.

We Love Manny's,and so glad they opened the new one on the 192,always have the rib's,no one can beat them imho,never had a freebie.

We have been to the one at Haines city twice during our Sept 2014 visit, It was our favourite restaurant followed by Longhorns. The service was Fantastic, it was full of locals and the atmosphere great. Food was really delicious & plentiful oh and very reasonable! We had a large group of 9 so rang ahead as recommeneded but got seated straight away. Definitely will be going back here next year though think we might try the new one next time 1st as it's much nearer but it's definitely well worth the drive
