Florida marriage license by mail
Hi!
We are flying out on June 2nd and get married June 5th so dont have time to go to courthouse for licence. Has anyone used floridamarriagelicensebymail/ or similar process? From what I see we fill in the form, upload documents and they send off, return and we need to get notarised - who would be able to do this? Then i gather they can give to venue where the wedding planner is? Thank you |

Congratulations
We did this to save the trip to the courthouse. We searched online for a local notary. From memory we just filled the form in, they sent it back, we took it to the notary and they had to stamp it along with copies of passports. It was a while ago but I think they then sent the completed form to the company sorting the ceremony. Found the process really straightforward and it was a relief to know it was all sorted before we got there. Would definitely recommend it. |
