Are there any rules?
We are staying in a villa in Formosa Gardens next month and I'm wondering if anyone knows what/if there are any rules on walking on the grass inbetween other villas? It would save us doing a loop to reach the main road to get out if we fancy walking to the local restaurants.

They would soon tell you if they didn't like it.

I would probably think would I mind if it was my villa which was beside the shortcut. Would I mind if there was a constant stream of people walking on the grass beside my villa. I would then make my mind up.

I have to admit if I were lying by the pool and people were walking past I wouldn't be very happy although whether there are actual rules I don't think there are.

I think I remember reading about people getting badly bitten by things living in the grass in Florida when they walked across it
Maybe not a good idea !

I think it would depend how close you were walking to other villas, a constant stream of traffic past somewhere would be annoying. I wouldnt like it past my pool space. Considering how much walking you do in Florida, a short cut isn't really going to make that much difference. But test it out and see what reaction you get, if any.

Thanks for the replies. I just don't want to be doing something I'm not allowed and I have quickly made my decision... I didn't even think about the creepy crawlies, so I'll be using the footpath

We stayed in emerald island last month. It's a fair walk to the restaurants, after a day in the parks.

That happened to my wife & I in Savannah earlier this year. We were at a civil war fort & decided to take a short cut back to the car across the longer grass - bad move. Whatever beasties were in the grass took a liking to our legs which ended up having big red blotches where the bites were.
