EMH tactics for HS & AK
with Pandora and Toy Story Land being so popular, does this now mean the other rides are fairly quiet during EMH?
I was thinking that we would be able to pretty much walk onto the rides like Everest & TOT etc as everyone will head straight for the other areas. Is this the case?

Everest is usually about a 5 minute wait during EMH (for the first 15 mins anyway) - we usually go on numerous times. Can’t see it being much longer unless everyone gets the same idea 😂. We do go to Toy Story Land in EMH so I cant comment but I’m pretty sure there won’t be a long queue for it. X

AK opened for EMH 7 minutes ago. FoP is at 75 mins, meet Mickey and Minnie is 20 and everything else is 5 minutes.

For AK about 95% of the people at the start of EMH will go to Pandora. Everest is a walk on early, my record is about 5 times walking on and back around. Then down to Dinosaur for a few rides on that before the masses are let in at 9am.
If you have a FOP fastpass you can always walk onto Navi and then head over to Everest. It should still be a walk on or a 5 min wait at most. |

We did EMH at Animal Kingdom two weeks ago. It was manic - that being the 'race' to get to Avatar Land.
I had read on this site that the CM's would lead a leisurely walk to the area and hold people there until 8.00am - however, when we went it was just like the start of the London Marathon with people sprinting with little to no concern of other people in the park. Thankfully, we had FP's for FOP so watched all this whilst taking photo's with the Tree of Life in the background, before moving onto Dinoland to ride the rides with no queue's whatsoever and then onto Everest for two quick rides before 9am
