Mobile Stroller for 4 year old

We are visiting at the end of August with our just turned 4 year old, who is tall. We think we are going to take a stroller with us. Does anyone have any suggestions for a stroller for a larger toddler? Thank you in advance.

I think ours was a cheapish cuggl one from argos (but I bought it on shpock DS had just turned 5. I find buying second hand is a good option for the sake of a holiday.

Search eBay and take it with you if you can. Flying a pram is usually free so it can work out cheaper than hiring.

Another vote for the baby jogger city series. They are really wide and we are taking one again this year, even though DD3 is now 6.

She'll still spend some time in the buggy and it is perfect for carrying stuff (especially a supply of drinks) around parks, malls etc.

I’m looking for one for my ds who will be 6 when we go. He has autism and runs away so its a must that he has a pushchair. Think we’ve decided on the city mini gt as it seems to be the best for older kids

Definitely the Baby Jogger City Mini GT. You will see lots of these about as you can hire them. I would suggest buying a second hand one and selling it upon your return as you’ll easily make most of your money back.

They are very easy and light to push, sturdy, great sun coverage and a decent sized basket underneath. The GT version is better than the standard City Mini as it is easier to push. My son sat in one when he was six and it was fine.
