MVMCP tickets and Magic bands

I have bought MVMCP tickets for 12 December and they appear on MDE as linked to me and husband. We also have two active Magic Bands showing from our visit last October. We have no other park tickets for our December trip. Will we be able
to use the Magic Bands to enter the park on party night? We have no hard tickets, just the email and the MDE entry.

Hay! I'm heading to MVMCP on the 12th too

No you're fine with just the magic bands. They'll be able to let you in But you will not be able to enter the park until the official party starts at 7, since you dont have a park ticket

Yes,you can get in at 4pm,we did this last year for MNSSHP,we never had park tickets.

It is 7pm entry for an After Dark event if you don't have regular park tickets.

Yes, when we’ve done mnsshp before we were able to enter MK at 4pm. My concern was whether the tickets would link to our Magic Bands, but I’m now reassured they will!

Officially it starts from 7pm so I guess that’s what Disney will say. However, unofficially they start letting people into the park from 4pm

There is nothing unofficial about it. It clearly states that entry is from 4pm, just as it clearly states entry is from 7pm for the after dark events which start at approx 10pm. I have one of the latter coming up, without park tickets, and was able to book FP from 7pm, I am sure this would not have been possible had I officially only been able to enter when the event commenced.

Disney’s website states:

“Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party takes place from 7:00 PM to midnight”

The event officially starts from 7pm - as per Disney’s website. Nowhere does it state that entry is from 4pm on that site, however this is when CMs will start letting people in. Do the tickets themselves state that the entry time is from 4pm?
