MK parking & breakfast at The Contemporary
Hi all. I’m considering having breakfast at The Wave before our MK day. Just wondering what would happen with parking? Could we park at The Contemporary all day & walk to MK or would we have to eat and then drive back to the main parking lot & catch the monorail? It makes more sense just to walk/monorail to MK from The Wave but I think there might be a time limit on parking...but can’t quite remember. Any advice?

There is a 3 hour parking limit for ADR’s, you could valet park all day, but it is quite expensive. Could you park for MK and get the monorail to the Contemporary?

I had breakfast at Contemporary this week. Valet parking is $33 and standard MK parking is $22 so you are better off parking at MK and jumping on monorail to Contemporary

Hmmm, I thought so, thanks. How do they enforce the 3 hours? It looks like parking centrally is the way forward.

Yes, I’ve heard about the towing too. I’m onsite so have free parking so don’t fancy $33 for valet. Think we’ll park as normal & get the resort monorail to breakfast, then head to MK from there. Thanks all

If you're onsite anyway, you could get a MK bus and walk over to the Contemporary from the bus stop. Should be quicker on the return as well, as you won't have to head out with the crowds and get the monorail/boat back to TTC and join the queue of cars exiting. Just the one bus queue.
Buses officially run an hour before park open but in reality, you could probably catch one from 6:30 without any problems. |

We had breakfast at the Wave a couple of weeks ago. Paid the $37 ($4 tip included) for valet parking. stayed from 7.30am until about 11pm. We thought it was great because we just walked to MK via the walkway from Contemporary - 5 mins it took us! Same on the way back at 11pm. The main idea of this for us was so we'd avoid all the crowds going in and out, worked just as we wanted. Bag check on the walkway too
