We have just come back from our 5gh stay at the Blue Heron, we really enjoy staying there. We always ask for building 2 and like to be around the 8th floor. The two bed rooms both have bathrooms, one style of room has bedroom and divining room with double balcony looking over the lake, 2nd bedroom looks on to landing and for the most part you keep the curtains closed. The end units have a balcony off the living room lake view then balcony from master bedroom with a fireworks view. You get washer and dryer plus full kitchen. We really enjoy it there, the only thing that gets to me is there is now an $18 a day resort fee to pay when you get there like so many places these days. If you allow for that it is not so much of a problem.

I haven't stayed at Floridays, but did stay at the Fountains resort which is right next to it. The location is good as long as you have a car. The Vineland outlets are 5 minutes around the corner tops, and you have publix, Walgreens, some restaurants close by. It is an easy drive to Disney and Universal too, but is away from the main drag of I Drive, very quiet.
We always go for a suite, so had a 2 bed 2 bath at the fountains, which was a bit dated but clean and the resort itself was beautiful. That was in 2012. In 2015 we had a 1 bed suite at Residence Inn which is on Westwood Boulevard, which runs in a loop behind I drive South. Also a good location, very close to discovery cove, SeaWorld and aquatics. This year we are staying at the Hawthorne Suites LBV, in a 1 bed suite. Reviews seem mostly positive. All 3 of these hotels do 2 bed suites also. |

Don't think this has been answered yet - yes Grande Villas 2 beds have a washer drier in the unit.
OP don't forget to factor in resort fees. GV is $12 a night and includes parking. I may be wrong but I thought Blue Heron charge a resort fee plus parking on top? |

Have a look at Marriott cypress harbour. We stayed this summer - 2 bedroom suites with 2 bathrooms and huge lounge/diner/kitchen area and balcony. All newly refurbished. 3 pools (main one with lots of activities). Small shop, bar, take-away/outdoor restaurant. Also great location near sea world and 5 mins drive from Vineland outlet mall
