I would actually love to stay and camp the night as i am a massive camping fan but the OH said no way when we have paid for a lovely villa 😂 might make use of chip and dales campfire though!
Ferry boat drops you straight to the magic kingdom from the campground, usually transport starts an hour before park opening, if you wanted to camp you would have to provide your own tent and gear, they have limited tents and are usually given to larger groups, and smaller groups on a first come first served basis.

At the end of the day, you are still paying to stay there. It is not like you are getting something for nothing.

Yes I suggested getting a cheap 1 from Wal-Mart from the night... He still wasn't impressed!

Thanks for boat info!

How would they know you are not planning on actually stay there?

Just realised this would also mean we will have access to the resort pool... which means for our first full day could go MK get boat back over to fort wilderness for a few hours to relax and then go to trails end for tea (which I was hoping to do at somepoint) and then make our way to another park in the evening this is turning out to be one of my favourite days planned 😂... just need to work on the OH with my tent plan!

Do you let them know you are not staying when checking in?

They won't care. They have no idea if you use the facility or not

That was my justification for doing it. Got an All Star resort VERY cheap for one night.
Was going to stay, now probably not (BF doesn't want to move hotels for one night), but have paid anyway and it's non refundable so don't feel bad about using the on-site perks.
Think of it like paying for an upgrade ;-)
