18th Birthday Suggestions!
It's my son's 18th birthday (big birthday in UK terms) when we go next year. Does anyone have any recommendations to do something special for him? We are staying on site at POFQ.
He has loved KSC when we have been before & I see they now have Astronaut For A Day - Is this any good & would it be suitable for an 18 year old? Any suggestions received are greatly appreciated.

My son would love surfing lessons at Typhoon lagoon or the sea venture at Discovery Cove

It’s my daughter’s 18th while we are there next summer. We are staying in a villa but on the day of her birthday will do an overnight stay at RPR. She’s HP crazy and loves all the rides at Universal so I thought we’d benefit from 2 day’s FOLPs and can be in the park from opening then head to pool for couple of hours, go for a meal then back to park til closing. Might not be special to some but will be her idea of a special day.

If you are planning on booking a meal you can order a birthday cake from the restaurant. My daughter enjoy the firework cruises and they will trim the boat up (for a fee).
Is there anything else he likes? I don't know anything about the KSC as it's years since we went there. |

Shooting range ? Helicopter flight. There’s that indoor ‘sky diving’ thing which I want to do.

My DS turned 18 on our last day of our holiday in June this year and we went on a helicopter tour to celebrate. Well worth it and it was a great experience

We did Astronaut for the day (ATX) about 10 years ago and loved it. Learnt a lot and I was mission controller.
Highly recommended
