Doing MK at Easter 2017

Hi Dibbers,
Looking for some advice from you good people.
Now that Disney have announced EMH on the 2 Thursday across Easter, this means all for the whole 2 week period MK will have EMH.

What are peoples thoughts and recommendations now for the best days to go for us non Disney guests ?

Tell me about it, we booked a night at the contemporary and BoG breakfast on Maundy Thursday to take advantage of the ONE day MK had no emh, well they not only put the opening for the public back to 8.00, they also added emh at 07.00, so our first day at Disney plans spoiled somewhat.
Have you booked your fastpasses?
If not there are still plenty available, I managed to rearrange all 3 of ours .
I guess we will be checking into the hotel at 06.30.
Easter Sunday is probably not a bad day to do MK, if we weren't doing Boma brunch / AK for ROL, I would have gone to MK instead.
Personally I don't think Easter will be as manic as it is now during spring break.

Thanks for the advice hvasey,

We have allocated 2 days at MK.

We already have fp's for Thurs 13th and was planning to book for Thurs 20th as well, with them both being non EMH days.

Last time we went on Easter Sunday was back in 2013 and we left my 1pm. The park was so crowded and they closed to new admissions.

Think we will stick the plan for now and see what its like when we get out there.

We noticed this last night so we are seriously last minute scrambling to switch a few things around. I think we will push out our MK day till the weekend as I'm hoping it will be quieter. We are not going home until Tues 25th so it is possible for us however we had wanted to get there earlier really...

Hello fellow Dibber.
I feel the same, we are due to go back on the Sunday. Was thinking of going Sat22nd as I don't think there is EMH on this day, however, not sure how it will sit with the wife and kids if we leave Magic Kingdom to the last day of our holiday, when we will have tired feet and thinking of our journey home ? :-(
