Villa advice.

We're thinking of doing 3 weeks in a villa in may 2018, where would I begin to look? never done a villa stay before but more than willing to now. Also, is it relatively safe if you stay in a villa resort? xx

To answer your question about safety I come on to the villa regularly on my own never feel unsafe in fact DH goes home tomorrow and I'm on my own for 3nights Just look for a villa with a monitored alarm and take the same care you would at home

We've always felt perfectly safe in all the villa communities we've stopped at. There is usually a mixture of holiday rentals and residents. If security is playing on your mind, maybe look at a gated community for additional piece of mind

We always stay in a Villa.
You can pick from variously priced villas re - Time of year. Facilities.
Size. Ect
As for safety. Always be aware of your own security. Use the safe and never leave anything in view of passer bys.

For us, the villa is a major part of the holiday, having your own space and pool to relax in is fantastic. Hope you find a great villa and have a wonderful time

We stayed in a villa last year for the first time and loved it. It was gated, but I wouldn't mind an ungated one either. We felt totally safe in and around the resort. We booked a villa package with BA. But want to book a Dibb villa for next year. So I will be back asking for advice on how to do that.

The only thing was, our villa had no safe. But we hid money around the place in case of a break in (Place was alarmed well) Use common sense for safety of course.
