Loads of great courses in the area, I have particularly enjoyed Falcon’s Fire, Celebration and Legends @ Orange Lake. Mystic Dunes is a lovely layout, but last time I played it, the condition had fallen, but if they have it back in good condition, I would definitely lay go back.
I am taking my clubs this year for the first time in many years 😀

Most clubs will hire clubs usually as DH says a decent set
Or you can hire clubs for the week etc although not cheap but they are delivered to your accomadation and collected Before DH had his villa set of clubs he would hire but always brought his own summer shoes golf shirts and trousers His choices of course Falcons Fire Southern Dunes and Legends at Orange lakes would be his preferred courses Then Ridgewood lakes Reunion and Providence He too was disappointed with the course condition at Mystic Dunes Usually easy enough to book a tee time the day before but in the summer early times are the most popular Although some courses are cheaper in the heat of the day Bay Hill is his favorite and you can often get a good stay and play deal Helen |

I’ve played LBV at Disney, fantastic course, can’t be a bit tight, with trees lining the fairways.
Celebration, more of an open course but challenging. Little more forgiving than LBV. Champions gate, this course is long! Haven’t played here for a while and the course layout has changed a bit with building work. You can’t go wrong with any of them. All played with carts, some have built in GPS some don’t. |

Southern Dunes is a great test, lots of water at Ridgewood Lakes, both on US 27. The Magnolia course at Disney was once a regular on the PGA tour, its not cheap unless you get an afternoon tee time. Re hiring clubs, its not always cheap, if you are playing more than a couple of times its possibly cheaper to put your own clubs on the aircraft. As others have pointed at least take your own shoes, balls etc.

I'm being given a pass for one round in October. I'm going to take full advantage of it go to Streamsong. Any of the 3 courses there look better than anything closer to Orlando, so the drive will be worth it.
Anyone who loves Coore/Crenshaw, Doak or Hanse courses, take your pick. Looks like heaven. |

We have played Falcons fire, Orange County national and Champions gate all decent courses similar priced but personnel favorite was Falcons Fire, all decent clubs to hire i got Taylormade and Callaway plus beat the club pro on a nearest to pin comp but had to spend winnings/voucher in club shop.

Hi our favourites ,southern dunes, celebration, champion gate and our oasis of calm grand cypress.if they plan to play more than 2/3 times would suggest they take their own clubs. We take ours as our hold luggage with the large pockets filled with extra trainers etc and take a cabin bag for the rest.
