Unfortunately, being in WDW does not make you a good parent and too many parents have the attitude " i paid X (some huge amount of money) for this trip and you are going to enjoy everything wheter you like it or not. Too many parents, don't look to their child for guidance and I have seen so many children forced to ride, meet and just follow parents around. WDW days can be long and hot When the kids want to stop, it is important to stop.
I don't direct these comments at anyone but the OP said this is his first trip and after too many trips, the most important thing I have learned is don't push (including reluctant adults. |

Thanks everyone. I know I’m going to have to go with how the kids feel. Gatorland is a certain though as my son is desperate to go! That may be mummy’s day at the pool. Thanks for the feedback!
