We travel off peak and tend to aim for a Monday, but the trip we're currently on gave cheaper flights on the Saturday, returning on a Tues, booked via Delta at £80pp cheaper than VA. Use the VA option to see fares over a week or so and then check via Delta and perhaps Last minute who I've also used a few times, when we had a flight cancellation LM were excellent and had us re-booked in minutes.

In case it helps - Thursday has always been a good day for Miami flights historically with Virgin (although last two Sunday has also been very good).

I have always found Tuesdays cheaper to fly although not sure from Gatwick. Downside of Tues is you need an extra day off work rather than going Sat-Sat.

Hi AA - Mon was the cheaper fare, Man to RSW (Fort Myers), so I was surprised to see Sat offering the lowest. For this Nov, Sat and Sun remain the cheaper, won't know definitively until May 2020 return is released this June. Picking the cheaper fare is one retirement advantage

Hi we are going with virgin as a package this May, and after checking for weeks on end, it always came out as Tuesday as the cheapest for us!, and the difference was nearly a £1k for the 5 of us between the tues and the Friday!, it was just over £200 difference with the Wednesday- we booked ours apr/ May 18 for this May- so shouldn’t be long now for you 😂 ps remember to clear your cookies or go incognito on your pc when u start price checking x
