Hotels walking distance to WDW + US

Thanks everyone for your suggestions. yes I've decided hopefully to stay at a moderate with DDP. We'll either do Disney first or last so we can take advantage of the Magical Express which will save us a few $$$$.

^^^ this is not accurate. You wouldn't need to walk to SSR to catch buses. All the Disney Springs Partner Hotels have a regular all day bus service to all parks. They are very reliable and almost comparable to Disney transportation.

I was answering the question asked about what was walkable. Yes OP could use the hotel bus service. I’d suggest checking the detail though as I was very unimpressed when I looked into this. Irregular. Not going to all parks. Not available enough for me.

We've stayed at a couple of hotels on there and the buses are every 30 mins, run all day and service all the parks. I've just checked and this hasn't changed.
